Title: Herman Double-Chocolate Brownies

3/4cButter, room temperature
1cGranulated sugar
1cPacked brown sugar
4xEggs
1/2cUnsweetened cocoa
1 1/2cFlour
1/2tsSalt
1/2cHerman Sourdough Starter
1tbVanilla
3/4cSemisweet chocolate pieces
1/2cChopped nuts

In bowl of electric mixer, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Stir dry ingredients together. Combine starter and vanilla; add alternately with dry ingredients to sugar mixture. Spread in greased 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2" pan. Sprinkle chocolate and nuts on top.
